So, here I am writing about the state of Florida once again. What can I say, there’s a multitude of relaxing places in this tropical paradise! I came across some information for special needs parents who have a child/children with autism, and had to share. A couple who have an autistic child of their own raised $2million to purchase a vacation home for other autism families to use for FREE. Luis & Mary Navas know all too well what the day to day battles are and wanted to allow a respite for other children with autism and their families to enjoy. What an amazing thing to do! Going on vacation is not an easy task when you have children, let alone children with autism because change is a stressor for the child; and financial burdens are a stressor for parents. However, at this vacation spot in the FL panhandle you won’t have the burden of the cost and your child can feel at ease with family all around. Peace of mind is everything.
